1. We know by the dual slit experiment that consciousness operates directly on matter and transforms it from wave to particle at the quantum mechanical level.

2. We have proven that consciousness does this at least four times faster than the speed of light, and in fact quite possibly instantaneously. This is not against the speed limit of light, which only holds for things that have mass -- consciousness is not bound by this limit.

3. We know that quantum entanglement breaks any sense of locality common to classical physics by moving information instantaneously. The state of one particle can affect the state of another particle far away, even if that other particle has been mixed in a solution with trillions of other particles.

4. At the least, it is unlikely these two instantaneous-information-delivery phenomena are unrelated, and if one of them is directly related to consciousness, then the other is likely to be also.

5. Therefore it is possible that, in addition to the proven ability to compresss waves into particles, consciousness may be able entangle and disentangle.

This hypothesis can be tested. If so, then...

6. We know that the placebo effect is extremely well researched but "not understood" even though the most simple explanation is that consciousness, operating at the quantum mechanical level, is involved in making placebos work the way they do.

7. We know that preparing homeopathic remedies requires strongly hitting a vial of solution against something like leather (this is called succussion) hundreds of times, while periodically diluting the solution to a point that classical physics is clearly not involved in what is happening.

8. I personally know that when I administered a homeopathic remedy to my children during a recent cold, it had a clear and repeatable effect of eliminating symptoms for four hours. This happened for days, throughout the duration of the cold. It worked as well as any normal cough suppressant medicine. I have proven to my own satisfaction that homeopathy works, even on children who have no idea whether it should or not. By the way, I had another "classical" remedy on hand in case they needed it, and it remains unopened because they never did.

Therefore it is possible that homeopathy works by operating at the quantum level, possibly explained by the fact that succussion is entangling parts of the solution -- or something else like this. Thus dilution of the carrier solution is not directly relevant to potency, because potency is carried at the quantum mechanical level. The practitioner's intent while succussing is likely involved, just as it is with the dual slit experiment, which would help explain why some tests of homeopathy fail, while others succeed.

This hypothesis can be tested.
